Benjamin O'Brian
Benjamin O'Brien is a Wealth Manager and he oversees Private Client Services for Capital Management Advisors LP. Prior to joining our Firm in 2008, he was a credit analyst specializing in small business commercial banking with Comerica Bank.

Benjamin's approach to wealth management is to first understand the client's unique situation, helping them to define their lifestyle goals and intentions to living a fulfilled life. He believes that providing individuals with observations and taking the time to educate a client is just as important as the unbiased recommendations that he presents. Benjamin provides a great deal of personal attention to his clients and collaborating with their extended team of outside professionals such as CPAs or estate planning attorneys, to monitor and adjust their wealth plan as they progress through life events. This holistic approach enables Benjamin to create cohesive, personalized strategies designed to help clients reach their personal objectives; whether that involves achieving financial objectives that create space for passions like world travel, running a business, or developing successful thoughtful strategies to support a work-optional lifestyle.

Benjamin is a native Houstonian and a graduate of Baylor University where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance. He continued his education at Rice University completing its Certified Financial Planner Education Program. Benjamin previously passed the FINRA Series 7 and 66 exams.

He and his wife Brittany have three young active children: Hutson, Harper and Hyatt (and their Golden Doodle, Roo). When they aren't spending their time involved in youth sports, they enjoy spending time with their friends and families, traveling, fishing, hunting and anything else outdoors.
